Before joining JLX Partners Satoshi Ogishi was a senior partner at one of Japan’s leading law firms. 

He has an established reputation as a strategic and business-minded corporate lawyer capable of handling a wide variety of corporate transactions.  

His clients include some of Japan’s best-known listed companies, multi-national companies with operations in Japan as well as start-up ventures and family-owned businesses.

He is experienced, among other areas, in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions; He also advises on cross-border estate planning for clients with family members and assets in multiple jurisdictions.

He holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, a grounding that informs his practical and business-minded approach.  He holds an LL.B degree from the University of Tokyo.
